In Loving Memory of LaMarcus DeOnte' Branch lll
On Sunday November 8th 1992 at 1:57AM LaMarcus DeOnte' Branch lll was Born at Providence Medical Center in Portland , Oregon to LaMarcus L. Branch and Charmaine K. Nichols , LaMarcus grew up in Portland. Growing up LaMarcus was a very good spirited, outgoing, caring and loving child. He enjoyed riding bikes, skateboarding, singing, drawing, baking and he loved hamburgers, hanging out with family and friends. LaMarcus never met a stranger and was always reaching out to help others in any way he could. LaMarcus enjoyed math, science and history and would spend a lot of his free time watching CNN and the History channel. LaMarcus was a very curious individual that was interested in learning how things work, why they worked and what they did. In 2001 LaMarcus received a reward in Mathematics, scoring the highest score in the state of Oregon for his grade level. In 2002 he was baptized at Morning Star Baptist church. In 2013 LaMarcus graduated from McCoy Academy. January 1st 2013 was LaMarcus most proud moment when he became the father of his son. LaMarcus spent the remainder of his life caring for his son, spending time with his Nana, and surrounding himself with family and friends. Especially his "Bro" Smeez, you very rarely saw one without the other. LaMarcus was a huge inspiration to his younger cousins. All the kids love to be around him, they thought he was the "cool" cousin. On September the 14th 2013 LaMarcus was called to return to our Heavenly Father. In his passing LaMarcus continues to touch the lives of others. His interest in science impacted his decision to be an organ donor. Although his physical presence is gone, his heart continues to beat on. So in the words of our loving son "Pinkys Up!"

Native American poem
Don't stand by my grave and weep,
For I am not there I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am diamonds glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
Don't stand by my grave and cry
I am not there
I did not die
