Lawrence Lyle Shank

Lawrence Lyle (Larry) Shank, 61, passed away after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by three brothers and thier wives, nieces, nephews, and his loving wife Sue of over 25 years. Larry was born and grew up in Portland, Oregon, graduated from David Douglas High School, where he was active as a drum major. He attended and graduated Portland State University with a degree in History.
Upon marrying Sue in 1988 they were extremely active in the Gideons International, Larry and Sue attended Eastgate Bible Chapel where Larry was an active participant in service, and occasional preaching. Larry's career was an agent in the insurance industry.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 15th, 2014 at 3:00PM at Eastgate Bible Chapel at 11410 SE Stark St, Portland,OR. Donations should be made to the Gideons International, American Cancer Society, or Kaiser Hospice.
