Lewis Bohl was born in Stonington, Colorado. He graduated from Mollala High School in 1938. He served in the US Army Corp of Engineers during WWII and later in the Air Force.
He married Carolyn in 1946, until her passing in 2002.
Lewis spent most of his working years as a civil engineer for Bonneville Power.
Following his retirement, he delivered for Loaves and Fishes for over a decade, since the late 50's was active at Rose City Methodist Church, was a Mason, and a member of a stock trading Peer Group.
Lewis, a man of many talents, an accomplished carpenter and wood worker, gardener, wine maker, pilot and photographer. Not afraid of any project, he restored old cars, and could fix anything from plumbing to electrical.
Lewis loved family, going to Lake Merwin, and world traveling, which he enjoyed with his companion Betty.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Survivors include, daughter Lynda, son James, devoted companion Betty, sisters Boo, Loretta, Peggy, brothers John and Dorval, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service at Rose City Park Methodist Church 5830 NE Alameda 97213, will be held November 13th at 11am. Graveside Service at Rose City Cemetery will be held 2:30P.M., Friday, November 12, 2010.
