Lillie Mae Blacknall

Lillie Mae Blacknall was born on April 16, 1916 in Bryant, Texas, the daughter of Daniel and Amanda Washington. She was raised and educated in Texas. She moved to Portland in 1976. She was married to Reese Blacknall, who preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Blacknall was a member of the New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church under the pastorage of Bishop Freddie L. Brown. She had worked as a certified nurse's aide at Porthaven Care Center until she retired in 1985. Mrs. Blacknall passed away on March 21, 2008 at the age of 91. She leaves to mourn her passing: Her daughter, Betty Archer; her sister Ruby Lee Barnett; her sister-in-law Tessie Greenwood; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
