Linda Cheryl Petersen

Linda Cheryl Henning Petersen was born June 4, 1950, and died January 26, 2011, at the age of 60, due to complication from her fight with diabetes and CML.
She graduated from Cleveland High School 1967 and attended Southern Oregon College in Ashland.
Member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church, she enjoyed teaching kindergarten Sunday school class. Linda had a lovely singing voice and sang with various church choirs.
Her work history included real estate and TCI Cable Television which she enjoyed proudly for years. Linda worked in the engineering department where she became the Utility Coordinator.
Linda had a son Michael Joshua Chapman who was born in 1974 and murdered in 2008.
Survivors include her mother, Nelda Richey (step-dad Keith), sister Janis Michaelis (husband Gary), brother Cliff Hazlett (wife Laura), aunt, uncle and three cousins and their families.
Funeral services will be at the Rose City Cemetery & Funeral Home, 5625 NE Fremont, February 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm. The entombment will be private at Lincoln Memorial Park.
