Lizzie Mae Smith

June 6, 1922 — August 30, 2013

Mrs. Lizzie Mae Smith was born to William and Nancy Tyner, on June 06, 1922 in Tuskegee, Alabama.
She was the third oldest child of seven. She married Johnnie Smith on April 30, 1939, in Okeechobee, Florida. Her husband Johnnie Smith passed away in 1965!

She was a member of the Vancouver Ave. First Baptist Church, from: June 1953 until September of 2001 !
Also a member of Usher Board#2. The Mary Circle, and the last surviving member of the Mission Chorus Of the Vancouver Ave. First Baptist Church!
She became a member of the New United Baptist Church, under the direction of: Rev: Amzie Bailey, which became the Calvary M.B. Church, which united with the New Hope M.B. Church, that is now The Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Alvin Ellerby.

She departed this life on Friday, August 30, 2013 in Happy Valley, Oregon.

Out of this union was born four children: One daughter: Carrie Lue Thompson. (Deceased in 1998). Three Son's: Louis Smith, Charles Edward Smith: (Deceased in June, 2012) of Portland, Oregon. Stephen Lynn Smith of Palm Springs, California. Her husband Johnnie Smith passed away in February, 1965. Grandson -Paul Frederick deceased, March, 1990!
She is survived by her two sons: Louis Smith of Portland, Oregon and Stephen L. Smith of Palm Springs, Ca. And a older sister: Ethel M. White of Chicago, Illinois. 12-Grand- Children: 35 -Great Grand Children. 12-Great/Great Grand children. And 5-adopted daughters that she help raise. Debbie//Susie//Jill//Libby//Wendy-Randall. And a Host of other family members survive.
