Lucy was born Lucy Charlotte McIntyre in Portland, Oregon on Dec. 14, 1914 to parents Charles and Anna (Benson) McIntyre. Lucy is the widow of retired Port of Portland maintenance welder Bill Cropper and is survived by her brother Frank McIntyre, daughter Janet Thompson and sons Richard Cropper, Tom Cropper and Ken Cropper. In addition, she is survived by 4 foster children, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Lucy was a lifelong homemaker and was engaged in loving care and support of many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their formative years.
