Lycresha was born to Glenn Jones and Shirley Mae Creadell on September 11, 1980 at Emanuel Hospital, Portland, Oregon. Three years later she became a proud and protective older sister to her only brother, Glenn Jones, Jr. She also named him Boo-Boo.
While in Louisiana, she attended Bastrop High School. After moving back to Portland she graduated from Jefferson High School, completed Job Corps and achieved many other educational certificates and such throughout the span of her life.
Shortly after Job Corps, she had her first child Arhmanhi, and would eventually have her last son Lydarren.
Life had taken a toll on her at this point, but with a new child, came a new perspective on life and what she wanted to accomplish in it.
It doesn’t have to be said that Lycresha was a daddy’s girl. Their attitude, drive and eagerness to help others were identical. That is why she dedicated herself to helping people by becoming a peer support specialist as well as a counselor at Lifeworks.
Knowing when you got a good thing (and she did) after so many years of driving Juan crazy, in 2018 they agreed to a lifetime of love and were married in Portland, Oregon.
From Juan….
I have known Kee Kee since 2009. We met on 82nd Avenue, and I gave her a ride. I knew from the beginning that she’s a beautiful, smart woman. The years passed and we got together in 2016. She had changed a lot, but she was really nice to everybody. She likes to help everyone and with me, she has been amazing until the end.
We got married October 10, 2018 and we have been really happy. Unfortunately, cancer took her away from me and I’m trying to get through life now. I love my wife. She loved me too. Onday we will see each other again.
Mija my mija forever.
