Margaret Eleanor was born June 17th, 1927 in Portland, Oregon the only child of Willis S. and Amy B. (Gulovson) Maloney. Margaret attended St. Mary Magdalene and Holy Child Academy. She then worked for Goldsmith & Co. and in later years did advertising work for Fred Meyers.
She married James B. Fox on May 3rd, 1952. She and James had two children: Susan Ann Fox and Sally Louise Fox (Pella).
Twenty-two years into their marriage, Margaret lost James to a heart-attack. Her girls were eleven and ten years old. Never having remarried, she raised and provided for her two girls on her own.
Against these odds, however, Margaret built a family: She is survived by her two daughters and by her grandchildren: James Pella, Elizabeth Pella (Price), and Amy Pella. And over the years she fully embraced those her family, in turn, loved: Andrew Pella, Erica Lee, Andrew Price, and Nathan Nguyen.
Margaret was a loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother: She is dearly missed.
