Marilyn Gail Becker was born August 6, 1941 in Waterloo, Iowa the only child of Robert Ernest and Mae Alice (Silver) Melberg. The family moved to the Seattle area where she was raised until 1954 when they moved to the Portland area where she graduated from Holy Child Academy, class of 1959. On November 26, 1960 Marilyn married the love of her life, Jay Harmon Becker in Portland. She worked for J. Frank Schmidt Nursery for over 20 years, retiring as Personnel Manager.
Marilyn lives in the hearts and memories of her husband of 53 years, Jay and her daughter Brenda Becker. She is predeceased by her son Jay H. Becker, IV.
Private Inurnment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery. Rose City Funeral Home, in charge of arrangements. 503-281-3821
