To the union of the late John Quincy Adams and Pearl Moore Adams, twin daughters were born in the parish of Terrebonne, and they called her Marion AKA “Buckeye.” She graduated from Southdown High School in 1959, Houma, Louisiana. Soon after, in 1960, she married Samuel Goudy. To this union two sons were born, Timothy Goudy and Jeelani Shareef, both of Portland, Oregon.
Marion was employed at Fred Meyer on Union & Killingsworth in 1970. She was also employed at City Center Parking and Laidlaw Transit.
She departed and was united with her ancestors on October 20, 2015. She leaves to cherish her, two sons, Tim and Jeelani; five grandchildren, Timbra Willingham of Portland, OR, Jameel H. Shareef of Tacoma, WA, Kae’myn C. Shareef, Kaimani C. Shareef, Kristian S. C. Shareef, all of Portland, OR; five great-grandchildren, Stanley E. Williams, Ark Angel D. Howard, Heiliey Rie L. O’Neal, Nyriz Shareef of Laurel, MD,Davion Shareef of Tacoma, WA; two brothers, Claude Adams of Gray, LA and Henry Adams of Raceland, LA; one sister, Gladys A. Zilton of Gray, LA; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dagoberto Hierrezuelo; parents, John and Pearl Adams; brothers, Cleveland Adams, Clarence Adams, Richard Adams, Lawerence Adams, Sr., Nolan Adams, Earl Adams, and Herbert Adams; and sisters, Theresa Brown, Lillian Riley, Mary Moore, Beatrice Adams, Thelma Johnson, Delores Evans, and Ernestine Williams.
