M. Joanne Magill

Mrs. Joanne Magill was born on September 5, 1934 in Portland, Oregon to Leo and Miriam Stout. She was a lifelong Portland resident who had attended Rose City Park Elementary School, and was a graduate of Grant High School. She was a self employed seamstress. She married Jerome L. Magill in 1990. Joanne died of cancer on July 16, 2008 at her home in Portland. She was 73 years of age. Joanne is survived by her husband, Jerome Magill; her children: Matt Adkins and Debbie Fischer; her step-children: Brian Magill, Alison Magill, and Robin Helm; her brother Jim Stout; her sister Barbara Busman; three grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Remembrances may be made to the Portland Opera in Joanne's name. The address is Portland Opera, 211 Southeast Caruthers Street, Portland, Oregon 97214.
