Neil Eugene Sheedy

Neil passed into eternal life suddenly due to heart conditions. Born at the family farm near Harvard, Nebraska to Melvin and Margaret Sheedy. He was the youngest of five brothers. Neil grew up in Nebraska and moved to Portland after high school graduation in 1953. He married Dorothy Burkhartmeier in February of 1958. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960 after the Korean War. Neil raised his family working as an automotive technician starting at Everist Brothers, and retiring in 1998 from the City of Portland Fleet Services.
Neil was a beloved husband and father. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, children Tim, Teri, Tami and Ted and their families including 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild due in June and his brother Jerry. Neil was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Jim, John and Bob.
