Ollie Ailene Tabor was born July 12, 1938 to Lila and Clare Seeley in Denver Colorado. She and the family moved to Oregon around 1945 and settled in Portland, where she graduated from Girls Ploy High School.
Ollie met her husband of 53 years, Johnny V. Tabor, while John was on leave from Fort Lewis, Washington. They married September 9, 1956. John was career Army and along with Fort Lewis, the family also lived three years in Kitzington, Germany.
Ollie was a loving mother and grandmother who was an active PTA president for many years in the David Douglas School District, a founding member of the Columbia County CB Club, (where she was also known as Mush Mouth) and was also very active in raising thousands of dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She and John also owned the former coin and card shop, Mount Tabor Exchange.
Ollie was preceded in death by her mother and father, step father Carl Jewell and her husband. She is survived by her sister Helen Malkson, brother Leslie Seeley, three children, Steven (Gail) Tabor, Vicynthia Tabor, Carl (Shari) Tabor, eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
