Pattie G Williams

February 9, 1938 — July 11, 2013

Pattie Glenn Williams was born to Clara and William Frazier on Wednesday, February 9, 1938 in Clarion Arkansas. Pattie received her high school education at Roosevelt in Portland, Oregon. She was gainfully employed by several different employers but retired with a healthy benefit package from Concordia College as Maintenance Engineer.
Pattie was faithful to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and fully engaged as a choir member and helper. Pattie was a treasured giver of her time, energy and money supporting the different activities and saints in the church. She brought her children up to fear, honor and respect God. She dressed as though she had a daily appointment to appear on a famous magazine cover. Her house was always in order with each item in its place.
After the death of her husband Pattie continued to stand tall in her role as daughter, sister, single mom, aunt, grandmother, friend, and supporter of loved ones. She loved those on the outside into her family circle. She would feed you if you were hungry or provide drink for those thirsting. People were important to her and she made a conscious attempt to make sure everyone felt welcome in her presence.
Pattie leaves to cherish her memories five adult children Johnny Gill (Tangela), Verita Johnson (Henry), Marcus Gill (Carol), Clara Gill, and Warren Williams (Kathy), mother Clara Monroe, four siblings Gloria Bremby, Billie, Bobbie, Vernell, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, porthaven care center employees, and other extended family and friends.
Pattie's son James Gill preceded her in death on July 6, 2013.
"I'm the boss" was one of Pattie's frequent sayings.
