Pearl Ree Johnson

Pearl was born Pearlie Ree Green on March 21st 1944 in Little River, Arkansas to Evelyn Green Taylor. By age six she resided in Tom Oklahoma with her grandmother Gladys Green. She and her Mother moved to Idabel Oklahoma where her Mother met and married Harry Taylor; Pearl is the oldest of seven children born to Evelyn and Harry.  Seeking a brighter future, in 1958 the family relocated to Portland Oregon, Pearl was 14years old; she attended Jefferson High School. She and her family were long standing members of New Hope Baptist Church. Throughout her life she attended church regularly and was extremely well versed in the books of the Bible.
