Pernita Sue Gregory

Pernita Gregory passed away due to cancer at the Evergreen Hospice House in Albany on February 22, 2018.  Her husband and daughter were by her side.

She was born in Dayton, OH and later moved with her parents to Lebanon, OR where she spent her early years.  She moved to Albany, OR where she married Glen Gregory and had one daughter, Larissa.

Pernita worked for Good Samaritan Hospital system for 30 years until she retired.  She enjoyed her work and the people around her.  She was an active member in the Corvallis Elks Lodge #1413 becoming the Exalted Ruler in 2015-2017.  She loved being involved with the many community activities in which the Corvallis Elks participated.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and a sister.  She is survived by her husband, Glen Gregory; Larissa Stevens, daughter; three grandchildren, Caitlan, Jordan and Kirstin.

Her Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Corvallis Elks Lodge at 1 pm.
