Ray Elsey

Ray Elsey was born in Portland on September 7, 1949 to Ray and Dorismae Elsey. He was raised and educated here and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam era. He married Janet Richard on September 8, 1973. He had worked as a master jeweler for all of his working life. Ray passed away on February 27, 2008 at the age of 58 and is survived by his wife, Janet; his children: Wendy Elsey and Brian Elsey; his mother Dorismae Elsey; his sister Judy Violanto; and his grandson, Tyler Smith.
