Reverend David G. Danielson

David Danielson was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, the second child of Ephraim and Ellen Danielson. He married his sweetheart Deloris Erickson on June 22, 1946 and they were blessed with a daughter, Elaine. His active ministry spanned over 50 years, 12 of which were as the senior pastor of Temple Baptist Church of Portland, Oregon. He was a gifted musician, turning his hand to nearly any instrument and was a prolific writer of sacred songs.
He is preceded in death by Deloris Danielson, and survived by his daughter Elaine Walthinsen (Terje) of Gladstone, three grandchildren: Kristi Nolan (Matt) and Laura Hansen (Tony) of Sherwood, and Tim Walthinsen (Rosemary) of Redmond, OR, and 9 great-grandchildren.
