Rhoda Ann Wittcke

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 21, 2007 in Rose City Cemetery for Rhoda Ann Wittcke, a lifelong Portland resident who died September 18 at the age of 89.
Rhoda Ann Waddell was born in a house on Sacramento Street to parents Charles and Ann Waddell on July 5, 1918. She had a brother, Charles and a sister, Jean who both preceded her in death.
She graduated from Washington High School. She married Wynn Wittcke and had two children, Dennis and Diane. They later divorced.
She worked at Meier and Frank for over 25 years retiring from the credit department in 1983. She loved spending vacations with her sister in Hawaii or Las Vegas. She enjoyed knitting and family gatherings for any occasion.
Survivors include her Son, Dennis of Portland; Daughter Dianne Penick of Redmond, WA; Grandchildren, Darren Wittcke of Gresham, Jeanelle Wittcke, Jennifer Flagel both of Portland, and Cheryl Perrins of Redmond, WA, and she also has three great-grandchildren.
