Richard Kenneth Tenneson

Richard Kenneth Tenneson Sr., "Rich," passed peacefully in his home with family. Born in Helena, Montana, to Tennes Tenneson and Edith May Tenneson June 5, 1934. He had two siblings, Tina and Emil.

He married Mary Lee Connors February 12, 1955, they were married for 35 years. He worked at various lumber yards before working at Edwards Industries as a lumber buyer, and later in life, worked as a longshoreman. He enjoyed being with family, traveling, and was an avid outdoorsman.

In August 1999 he married Nancy Atkinson, and they had 21 fun-filled years of traveling, remodeling their home, square dancing,  and other social activities.

He was preceded in death by his father; mother; sister; brother; and son (Ricky), and granddaughter (Alicia). He is survived by daughter, Barbara Bowers (Dave); son, John Tenneson (Annie); step-daughters, Vicki Smith (Dave), Julia Westerman (Lee); grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Danielle, and Kenny, and great-grandchild Tyler. Along with Danielle, Lee, Grace, Mack, Caleb, Selma, Rachael, Hannah, Allie, and Neeka.

He and his stories will be missed by friends and family.
