Robert Harold Johnson
Bob Johnson died January 14th in Portland, he was 87 years old. Robert Harold Johnson was born April 20, 1925 in Portland to Peter Axel and Helma Marie (Swensen) Johnson, the youngest of six children. He graduated from Park Rose High School, class of 1943 and enlisted in the United States Navy that same year. He served for the next three years being discharged as a Shipfitter Third Class. After the service he worked for The Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway (SP&S) for over 40 years retiring in 1992. Bob enjoyed playing golf with his buddies around the Portland area. Bob is survived by his brother Marvin Leonard Johnson and niece, Marilyn Wheeler, both of Portland.
