In what would have been the year of his 90th birthday, we remember our Dad and Grandpa, Robert L. Scull. Born in LaGrande, Ore., to Chet and Emma Scull, Bob was the proud older brother to Dolores. He attended Columbia Prep High School, graduating in 1950. Drafted into the Army, he served from 1952-1954.
He was married to Sharon Morgan in 1955 until her death in 1985. A faithful provider for his family, his tireless work ethic earned him the position of VP at Blaesing Granite Co where he worked for 26 years. He worked for Benson Industries 14 years, retiring at age 73.
His career allowed him to travel the globe and his favorite place was Italy. A loyal baseball fan and lover of jazz music, he was known to drive to Tillamook for an ice cream cone on a summer day! He is survived by his two children, Jeffrey Scull and Kathleen Withers (Alex); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Per his wishes, the family celebrated his life at The Ringside where we raised a glass of Chianti Classico in his honor!
