Rudy Rudolph Bowe
July 11, 1925 — February 16, 2015
Rudy Bowe was born on July 11, 1925 in Tigard, Oregon. His parents, Virginia Emery Bowe and Edward Dorman Bowe owned a Dairy in Tigard, but later moved to Mill City and then to Portland.
Rudy graduated from Benson High School, and attended some college classes post-graduation. He worked as a diesel truck mechanic for 22 years at White Motors. He later retired from the Federal Reserve Bank.
In his spare time, Rudy worked a 10-acre farm, and rebuilt antique cars.
On February19, 1985, Rudy married Rosalie Wood Robinett, and became the proud step-father of Frances Bigsby, Charlene Cox, Theodora Sweilem & Maria Thorpe. Rosalie and the girls all survive him. Rudy is also survived by his brother Donald Bowe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Rosy, Ruby, Gertrude, Celia and Hubert.
A funeral service and burial will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Rose City Cemetery & Funeral Home, where Rudy will be laid to rest with his parents.
