Ruth Weigel

RUTH was born in Sanborn, North Dakota , the youngest daughter of Earnest and Josephine Mckean Marsh. She moved to Portland when she was 5 and graduated from Franklin HS, class of '36.
She married Kenneth G. Weigel in 1939. They settled in NE Portland where they raised 6 children and lived in the same home for 78 years.
As a homemaker she was a campfire leader and volunteered in school, she knitted sweaters and made quilts for all family members. She knitted hats for new borns and donated them to hospitals for years. She was a world traveler.
She is survived by her 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great greats. She will be missed by all
