Sandy had several close friends, some she had known since Grade school and they had continued to get together for lunch and dinner until health issues came up. She was known for her happy disposition and thoughtfulness. She was active in her church St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in SE Portland.
She leaves behind her mother-in-law, 3 sister-in-laws, and many friends. Her "furry friend Coconut" will be taken care of by a long time friend of the Olson family.
A small intimate family gathering with a wall internment blessing will be held in early October, with a church gathering sometime in the future~
