Obituary of Scott M. Allen
Scott MacDonald Allen was born August 3, 1970 in Portland, the youngest of three children of Dr. Richard and Patricia Allen. Raised in NE Portland, he graduated from Grant High School, and received his BA degree from Portland State University. He was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for KFK Seasonings at the time of his death. Scott passed away at home, July 30, 2016, he was 45 years old.
Scott excelled in all sports and loved coaching his boys teams. His outgoing, gregarious personality made him fun to be around and a natural leader. He loved people and never met a stranger.
Scott is survived by his sons; Cooper Matthew and Cole Jacob Allen, parents; Dick & Pat Allen, siblings; Mark and Rebecca Allen.
A Celebration of his Life will be held, Saturday, August 27th at 2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1624 NE Hancock St.. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Scott Allen Memorial Educational Fund for his children (www.youcaring.com/Scott Allen) or the Odiorne Memorial Scholarship Fund at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
