Stephanie Patricia Stanich was born on a glorious June 6, 1983. She left us Jan. 15, 2021.
Stephanie was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. Additionally, she graduated from the University of Oregon, earning her degree with majors in Social work and Business.
Her professional career was dedicated to the support of her family owned restaurant business—Stanich's, a career in which she took enormous pride.
The hallmarks of Stephanie's life were located in her enormous heart. She was a friend to the friendless, a trusted companion, someone dedicated to service to marginalized populations through organizations in Portland, Ore.
A woman of exceptional grace, compassion and generosity; one of her primary motivations was to bring joy to all she encountered. She was an amazing success at doing so. Her brilliant sense of humor, exuberant laugh and open embrace of life will never be forgotten.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Gladys Stanich; and her maternal grandparents, Vanda Leslie and Alan Gordon Leslie.
She leaves behind a family she adored. Her beloved father, Steve Stanich; her beloved mother, Skye Charlotte Leslie; her adored brothers, Milo Stanich, Doug Embree (Jessica, Alyvia, Isaac) and Cameron Embree; her cherished aunts, Patricia Stanich ( Nicholas), Diana Stanich Schumacher (Hans Boehm, Mallory Hartwig (Luke), Steven); and literally countless friends, who were touched and encouraged by her life.
Stephanie rests, now, eternally, in the arms of Christ, in the hearts of her family and as one of the most brilliant stars in a galaxy without end.
