Sylvia Killman

Sylvia Killman, age 98, passed away on December 29, 2023, after a long illness at home.

Sylvia was born on September 18,1925 in Portland, Oregon to John A. Killman and Anna Marie (Johnig) Killman. She is predeceased by her brother John L. Killman, sister Betty Jean (Killman) Wozencraft and sister Rose (Killman) Davis, and survived by her niece Carol (Killman) Leach of Wilmington, Delaware.

Sylvia graduated from the University of Oregon School of Music in 1948, and was a much loved and renowned teacher of piano in Portland for many years. Sylvia's passion in life was teaching music and guiding of her beloved students in their love of music and piano.

Interment will be on January 4, 2024, 11am at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home.  All friends and past students are welcome. Procession will leave from main office and proceed to grave side.
