Obituary of Therese Ingleby
A Remembrance gathering will be held, 11am, Saturday, April 27th at the Rose City Funeral Home. Therese passed away on April 18th in Portland. She was 56.
Therese was born January 5, 1957 to Donald Walter and LaVon (Sherren) Ingleby; she was the fifth of six children. She graduated from Willow Glen High School, San Jose, California, class of 1975. She went onto graduate from San Jose State in 1988 with a BA degree in Public Relations.
Therese moved to Portland in 1995, where she worked for the State of Oregon for the Department of Environmental Quality, for over 14 years.
Therese is survived by her mother LaVon Ingleby of Salt Lake City, Utah, siblings: Sherren Suczek, San Jose, California; Mary Ingleby, Santa Cruz, California; Colette Campbell (Cliff), Draper, Utah; Matt Ingleby, Portland, Oregon. Therese is also survived by her nieces, Rachael Kuo (John), of Oakland, California Marguerite Campbell, of San Francisco, California and her great nieces Kaili, Camille, Hartley of Oakland, California, and her nephew, Damian Ingleby, of Missoula, Montana.
She is preceded in passing by her dad in 2002 and Patrick Ingleby, her brother in 1993.
Therese had a loving heart with her devotions to Doctors Without Borders, Oregon Humane Society, and Portland Art Museum.
She lived her life to the fullest even when handicapped by crippling rheumatoid arthritis.
The world has truly lost a little flower.
