Vasili Belesiotis

Mr. Belesiotis was born in Nestani, Tripolis, Greece on November 16, 1920 to Kostas and Anna Belesiotis and was the oldest of 5 children. He moved to Toronto, Canada in 1950. He married Niki Couiofas in 1959. He and his family moved to Chicago and then Orange County before settling in Portland in 1971. Bill and his wife opened Nikia�(TM)s Restaurant in Southeast Portland in 1972. He is survived by his wife Niki Belesiotis; his children Dennis and Cathy Belesiotis; brothers George and Tom Belesiotis, sisters Bessie Rigas, Voula Babakos, and Matina Mandronis;and his grandchildren Nicholas and Sophia Belesiotis.
