Vickie Marie Tyler

Vickie Marie Tyler, daughter of Delores Louise Simmons was born in Seattle, Washington May 14, 1966.

She moved to Galesburg, Illinois in 1969 and later moved to Portland, Oregon in 1976 where she attended Vernon Elementary School and Portsmouth Middle School.

Vickie loved to play Bingo, photography and fishing at Snake River with her family. She was a lover of children with a special love for her nieces and nephews. Vickie was a people person (enjoying barbecue and partying with her family; surprising you with special gifts and going out to eat with her family). She was attached to her pet Dotson's: 'Lucky', 'Peanut' and 'Ghetto'. Vickie was very independent despite her health condition.

Vickie leaves to cherish her memory – mother, Delores Simmons; (2) two sisters, Valerie Allen and Valina Tyler of Portland, Oregon; husband, Huey Miller of Portland, Oregon; God daughters, Tykia Johnson and Miracles Jones of Portland, Oregon; stepdaughter, Monae Miller of Portland, Oregon; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
