Born December 15, 1944 at the Portland Sanitarium and Hospital to parents Hector Frederick Voeth and Lois Elaine Caviness. She was their only child who had many fond memories growing up in Portland with friends and her father after losing her mom at a young age.
She grew up and moved to Long Beach, California with her best friend Diane and was later married, and had her first son Terry in 1962. Her second son Troy was born in 1966 and her third son Tim after moving back to Portland in 1971.
Vicky loved her boys and all of their friends; watching them grow up, get into a little trouble and have fun brought her great joy. She was a single “stay at home mom” until all of her boys were in school, then worked at Rancho Flowers, Helfrich Equipment, Lynden Farms, and a few others until she finally found her dream job at Danner Boots on the wholesale team where she worked for 25+ years!
She retired In Spring of 2024 and moved right into "working" in several capacities where she lived at Homewoods on the Willamette. She ran for office and was elected Resident President leading meetings, taking care of needs, and lovingly serving her neighbors all the way up to the day she was hospitalized on December 10th.
In her spare time Vicky loved cake decorating, arranging flowers, home decorating, shopping, traveling, going to the theatre and making cards with Linda, going to the ballet with Laura, and spending every other spare minute with her children and grandchildren.
Anyone that met her knew she loved her family more than anything and she spent those final days surrounded by friends and family until she went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2024.
Vicky leaves behind 3 sons: Terry(Laurie), Troy (Cheryl), and Tim(Vicki), 10 grandchildren(6 spouses), and 16 great grandchildren, She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
