Viola Esther Clark was born to Esther and Eugene Lemieux on the 6th of August 1918 in Moorhead, Minnesota.
She attended Girls Poly High School until 1934 and then attended Commerce School, where she graduated in June 1936. At a Halloween dance at The Eagles Club in 1935, she met the love of her life, Ralph Clark. They danced the night away and then saw each other again at the same club for the Thanksgiving Dance. By the following summer, they were dating regularly and falling deeply in love. The two lovebirds were married on Valentine's Day 1938.
Viola's childhood dreams of being a mother came true and she and Ralph were blessed with four beautiful children, Terry, Linda, Michael and Jacqueline. Linda passed away in childhood due to illness.
Viola enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Theresa, Deanna, Matthew, Nathan and Amy and her great grandchildren.
Viola was an active member of American Legion in Portland for over 38 years and Chapeau Folle Salon #608. She also worked with Girls State for over ten years.
Viola celebrated her 95th birthday on the 6th of August 2013 with her family. She was always visiting friends or family, was very loved and always busy. She spent hours upon hours making her own Christmas cards and sent them to over a hundred family and friends every year.
On the 14th of August 2013, Viola went peacefully to be with The Lord and meet Linda and Ralph in Heaven. All that knew her loved her and were blessed to have been a part of her life. We will miss her greatly but cherish the wonderful memories she gave us.

A funeral service will be held in her honor on Friday the 23rd of August at 11:00 AM at Eastridge Church, 14100 SE Sunnyside Road in Clackamas, Oregon.
