Virginia Pjesky

Viginia was born on October 24, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Wallace K. and Ila M. Ashdown. She served in the US Army from 1943 until 1945. She married Paul Pjesky in Paris, France on June 9, 1945. The lived in Portland until July of 2006 when they moved to Vancouver. Virginia worked as a secretary for Sacajawea Primary School in Portland. She passed away on December 6, 2009 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her daughters: Susan Keil, Michelle Webb, and Karla Stephenson; her sisters Elizabeth Ashdown and Marlene McCormick;and her five grandchildren: Morgan Daniel Keil, Nathan Liss, Isaac Paul Liss, Lindsay Stephenson, and Lauren Stephenson.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 2006, and by her daughter Storma Liss in 2008.
