Vivian Marie Allen

Vivian Marie Myers was born on April 5, 1956 in Portland, Oregon to Martha and Patrick Peters. Vivian was the oldest child and is now reunited with her sister Julie Anne Myers who has been awaiting her arrival.
Vivian was an outgoing woman at heart, who loved the Lord. She was a woman who cared deeply and passionately for her loved ones and friends. She would do anything she could to help. She was an immaculate housekeeper and was very wise too. She loved to decorate, organize, and always kept a positive attitude no matter what a person was going through. She enjoyed having prayer meetings and Bible Study in her home and took great interest in her grandchildren and loved her beloved friends including Sis Moffett – Miller.

Vivian worked at Service Master Cleaners for over ten years, and also around town cleaning banks, a cook at State Clean for three years and was employed at the Tropicana Restaurant. While she was disabled, she was also a care provider from 2005 – 2012.

Vivian was married to Marvin Allen who passed November 6th, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. Together they had one daughter, Jamila Madina Allen. Vivian and Marvin eventually divorced. In 1999, God sent a special friend to Vivian, George Hunt, who stayed by her side until God called her home. Vivian passed away peacefully on April 10th, after all her children and family arrived at Providence Hospital in Portland.

Vivian is survived by her eight children; Jamila Allen of Portland, Kenneth Carr of Portland, Joseph Lewis of Portland, Shcotta Lewis of Texas, Moezell Lewis, Isaiah Simmons of Portland, Jeremy Simmons of Portland and Julie Simmons of Idaho. five siblings; Linda Campbell of Portland, Deborah Johnson of Portland, Angie Campbell of Portland, Darlene Campbell of Portland and Shavelle Campbell of Portland, ten grandchildren; Sheldon Watts, Isaiah Allen, Robert Two-Two, Christopher Two-Two, Nehemiah Watts, Melia Watts, Neveah Watts, Makila Lewis, Arianna Lewis, Arreaunna Hunt. Two Great Grandchildren; Amir Allen and Sheldon Watts, Jr., two nieces; Silver Pierce, Marquette Pierce, Three great nieces; Sliver Rodgers, Precella Rodgers, Julie Pierce.
