Wesley Richard Proppe

Wesley Richard Proppe was born on August 14, 1928 in Portland, Oregon to Richard and Lydia Proppe. He was a lifelong Portland resident and was a graduate of Jefferson High School. On August 24, 1957 he married Elizabeth "Beth" Grover. Wes had worked as a photographer and a dark room technician for Delano Photographics / Northern Lights Studio until he retired at age 70. Wes was preceded in death by his daughter, Gwen, in 1981. He passed away on April 9, 2011 at his home in Portland at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Proppe; his son, Richard Proppe; and by his grandsons: Justin and Brandon Proppe.
