Wilbur worked for the First Interstate Bank, as a Trust Auditor for 40 years and The Oregonian Newspaper for 50 years part time in the circulation dept.
His memberships included St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church, Washington and Columbia Masonic Lodges, Scottish Rite, and Oregon Soccer Association as their secretary.
He graduated from the University of Portland.
George and Eleanor married May 13, 1949.
Suvivors include his wife, children; Suzanne Parvey, Linda Jenkins, Richard Jenkins, Sharon Mitchell, and Mary Bloomquist, 7 grandchildren.
