Yoshio Inahara was born in Gifu, Japan in 1924 to parents Tetsunoske and Tei Inahara.
He died on Sept 17, 2018 at the age of 94, surrounded by his family in Clackamas, OR.
Yosh is survived by his wife, Hiro; children Cheryl (Steve) Pomp and Rob (Tracy) Inahara, (Neale) Inahara; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; and sibling, Toshio Inahara. He was preceded in death by his son, Alan Inahara.
He earned his degrees in chemistry and pharmacy from Pacific University and Oregon State University and worked as a pharmacist for 50 years. He was the owner of Seaton’s Pharmacy. During the duration at Seaton’s he served as President of the Oregon State Pharmaceutical Association, American Pharmaceutical Association, National Association of Retail Pharmacists and Oregon Board of Medical Examiners and represented many Pharmaceutical companies as a pharmacy consultant.
Yosh had a deep love for family, golf and fishing and gardening and was a dedicated member of the Epworth Methodist Church.
A Memorial Service for Yoshio Inahara will be held:
1:00PM Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 1333 SE 28th Ave., Portland, OR 97214
The Inahara family asks that memorial contributions be made to:
Epworth Methodist Church or the Ikoi Noi Kai hot lunch program at Epworth.
