Thomas W. Fawcett, beloved husband, brother and friend passed away in his sleep at home.
Tom loved to fly fish and taught himself to tie his own flies. He was an excellent woodworker and made furniture and little wooden boxes using only hand tools. He also taught himself the art of Bonzai and has a number of bonsai trees. Tom rode his bicycle 30 - 50 miles per week, and sometimes an additional 30 - 50 miles on a weekend. Tom worked for a scientific supply company in Portland for nearly 37 years.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Ward; sisters Gail Kulas of Alliance, Nebraska; Cathy Conklin of Eugene, Oregon; cousin Tom Judge, of Vancouver, Washington; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Robert Sullivan; and sister-in-law, Della Ward.
No funeral will be held. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
